I am an artist who combines colorful realism with self-authored narratives that explore the awkward intimacies of inter-personal relationships and human psychology. I have recently expanded my practice to include still-life subjects, rendered with attention to the unique beauty of each object – much in the same way I do with my figurative work.
My work has been featured in galleries and museum exhibitions throughout the United States and is part of permanent museum collections including The Boise Museum of Art, The Tucson Museum of Art, and the Museum of Art at Texas Tech University. I am currently represented by the Stewart Gallery in Boise, ID, Etherton Gallery in Tucson,AZ and the Projects Gallery in Philadelphia, PA.
I am also an Assistant Professor of Painting and Drawing at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.
