| I consider my paintings to be spaces of crisis. That is, spaces which address theoretical and interdisciplinary notions of subjectivity and identity and attempt to resolve artistic, personal and social exigencies. Through the use of the symbolic imagery and metaphor my work explores both the reality of the fragmented subject and the ideal projection of the seamless self. | ||||
